The El Niño weather pattern has been making some people happy this fall with some needed wetter weather in California and warmer weather in the northern USA, but Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is not pleased. Trump expressed his displeasure at a recent campaign stop:
“El Niño is an unwanted visitor in the USA, definitely Hispanic because of the funny “n” and possibly Muslim. We just don’t know for sure. But what we are sure of is that just like other undocumented visitors to our country, El Niño is taking jobs from American workers that plow and salt our streets when it snows. Also, no snow means no white Christmas. Unlike President Obama who is doing nothing about El Niño, as President I promise that El Niño will never again rob Americans of our white Christmas.”
