Let Lying Trumpers Lie

I’ve gone back and forth with friends debating whether or not we should make an attempt to reason with our relatives and friends who are hardcore MAGA Trumpers. Sure, we want our loved ones to see the error of their ways, but I have become convinced that trying to sway them is a lost cause. To support my argument, I present this video from a couple days ago.

Your eyes may have glazed over just a bit at the falsehoods flung around like feces in the monkey house at the zoo. Sounds like something crazy Aunt Jane or Uncle Joe at the holidays would say after getting into the spiked eggnog, but it perfectly supports why trying to show them their thinking is flawed is futile. First, take a look at the sheer volume of nonsense this woman spouted along with the truth listed underneath each.

Preventing Covid is Oozy

I should warn you, this is going to be a long post. Wait, wait, don’t click away. It’ll be long, but with lots of pictures including one of our new puppy dog. Whew, I think I saved a few of you from ditching me and this post.

I rarely do a post like this one. It’ll be chock full ‘o pics from the television, or if you’re in the UK, the telly. I usually reason that if you wanted to see the program, you would have watched it yourself, and you don’t need to see me regurgitate a program that you chose not to watch. Gee, I may not be doing a good job of selling this post. Did I mention our new puppy’s pic is coming?

The show I watched was The Rachel Maddow Show. Some folks call her the liberal version of Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity. I call her a smarty-pants who uses actual verifiable facts rather than conjecture, fear-mongering, and lies, also known as the staples of those named Fox News hosts.

Anyway, she was trying to help people again last night. Specifically, she warned against these practices …

Those are very bad ideas. I don’t have much experience with iodine, but I have extensive experience with hydrogen peroxide. As a self-licensed dermatist, I use a hydrogen peroxide solution to chemically burn seborrheic keratosis spots off myself. This is the result of one such session on my forehead.

It’s a Family Affair

No, the title is not referring to Donald Trump’s creepy obsession with Ivanka.

Come on, who says that about their own child? I know I wouldn’t say that about any of my 3 daughters … except for the super-hot one!

All kidding aside (bad idea for a humor blog), I always wondered why Trump never attempted dating a Kennedy (and more importantly, all the Kennedy money) during the times he was between marriages. Now I think I know.

I was as perplexed as most everyone else as to why people gathered in Dallas at Dealey Plaza the other day waiting for JFK Jr to return. There were hundreds there from all over the country. Take a look.

That’s No Lady, That’s a US Senator

I have not altered the following pic in any way other than cropping it out of the Fox News website. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that does NOT appear to be crazy QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene referenced in the headline.

If that is indeed Greene, I can see why Greene is crazy & angry all the time. Not a good look at all.

You can call me crazy, but that sure looks like Senator Lindsey Graham, Trump’s faithful lapdog. If you ask me, it’s still not a good look for him. But ask yourself this … have you ever seen Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Senator Lindsey Graham in the same room together? Think about it. Both last names are very similar. They both have names (Lindsey & Taylor) that can apply to a man or woman. Green represents Georgia while Graham represents South Carolina, which are ajoining states! Graham has the nickname Lady G. Greene has the nickname Crazy QAnon Lunatic Lady. Okay, so that last one doesn’t fit the argument too well, but take a look at this recent pic of Greene I used for the featured image of this revealing post.

Let’s just hope Graham/Greene doesn’t reveal any more in the future.

Questioning QAnon

I’m confused, as regular readers of this blog already know. Here’s what currently has my head spinning.

  • The QAnon conspiracy folks love Trump.
  • The QAnon conspiracy folks think the COVID-19 coronavirus is a hoax.
  • The QAnon conspiracy folks think the COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine will inject tracking microchips into us. They are definitely anti-vax for COVID-19.
  • Donald Trump keeps promising (likely lying) that a COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine will be available by the end of the year.
  • The QAnon conspiracy folks continue to love Trump.

My head hurts. Please explain.

I stumbled across this article on Twitter.

It leads me to a troubling moral dilemma. Should we stay silent and allow the QAnon morons to seriously hurt or even kill themselves, thus making the world a better place? Or do we save the lives of the QAnon pond scum by telling them not to drink bleach? If we choose the latter, they won’t believe us, and that may cause them to drink even more bleach.

I think my decision is made. What article?

Watch Your P’s & Q’s

But especially those Q’s! The QAnon people (known as Q’s) are a subset of Trump supporters. They get their inside info from an anonymous source they call Q. Q tells them that the Deep State is actively working to subvert Trump, but Trump will triumph on … get ready for this … December 5th. Ta-da! Oh wait, it’s already December 6th. This is the point in the show where the magician can’t seem to find the rabbit that was supposed to get pulled from his hat.

Yep, the Q followers should be em-bear-assed for all the ‘lion’ that Q does.

It’s a shame that all their memes will go to waste. Like this mysterious, scary one …
