I saw this on Twitter this morning …
What happened in that one minute to change America from having to be made great to being great? Maybe Fox & Friends said something. Maybe nothing. Maybe he is tooting his own horn while still trying to sell more of those MAGA caps. Maybe his brain just continues to melt into dementia.
I fancy myself an idea person, although I readily admit that most of my ideas are bad. I like to think that I have had so many bad ideas in my life that I have become a pretty good judge of ideas. I’ll give you an example.
Area Democrats are marching in the local St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday. I will be marching with my daughter, unless it is too cold, or rainy, or if she gets a better offer. Then I’ll be proudly walking without my daughter and just with my fellow Democrats, flipping off anyone in the crowd with a MAGA hat on. Just kidding. I wouldn’t do that. But a MAGA-hatted parade watcher was flipping off Democrats in the last parade I marched in. Those MAGAts are class acts.
Anyway, a fellow Democrat offered the following ideas for the parade via email …
I know there are people who want America to be great again. I am thankful for that, because it really has been such a shitshow recently. I am understandably a bit nervous since the people who have turned America into a shitshow are the same people promising to make America great again.
As for me, I just want America to be smarter. Case in point is this letter I received. This shows America in all its glorious dumbosity, not just in one way, but several that I will enumerate for you.
I stumbled out of bed early yesterday and looked for my weapon. Yes, I was headed to war. If you don’t know what I am talking about, please read about the Civil War II. But I knew there would be nothing civil about it. I grabbed some grub, printed my map and headed for the battlefield with my weapon of choice …
No, this is not a post with bad spelling about a MAZDA automobile. I know we are all working hard to MAGA – Make America Great Again by attempting to take away each other’s healthcare and giving YUGE tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations, but I’d be happy with taking baby steps in that direction. How about this? I would be happy if something could be done to stop this from happening to my car seat every time I open the car door on a snowy day.

After just 1 week of the Trump Reich, I am sad to report that I think it is just about time to buy a Make America Great Again hat and start wearing it.
My current cap just doesn’t cut it anymore …
Now that Trump is steering us towards becoming a Western Russian state, I just don’t feel comfortable wearing it anymore. America WAS already great. Now after just 1 week of being Trumpified, there’s not so much greatness anymore. I may have to revert to my pre-election hat …
Although I don’t think I can wear a MAGA hat, I think now and for the next 4 years, it may be most appropriate.
