The One Million Job Myth
I hear Donald Trump proclaiming all the time about adding one million jobs during his first six months in office. Hey, that sounds pretty good. If we just take a look at the economy, maybe we’ll see that he is doing a good job. I do realize that there’s more to Trump than just the economy like the Nazi love, gutting healthcare and social services, ruining the environment, misogyny, wasting tax dollars on a wall, and I grow weary of listing them all. But hey, how about that economy and job creation?

Can I Get a Trump-Free Evening Please?
I wanted an evening without Donald Trump. It looked to be a good night to sit by a fire outside and have an adult beverage. Of course, that’s most nights for me, but tonight it had an extra appeal to me for whatever reason. That was before I knew Trump held a press conference, and not just any press conference, but the Titanic of press conferences. Sigh! And so we have another night of cable news watching and some blogging. Here are my random thoughts after watching the Trump presser.
Fat 1 – Jim 0
Well, that last weight loss plan of mine involving not farting did not work well at all. Chalk one up for the fat cells as I continue to struggle to lose weight. I know, I know … sensible diet and exercise. I do exercise. I walk, bike and swim, sort of a triathlon lite. But I have a plan to rev up my exercise program.
