Making Music Already Made
My wife sang an original song lyric that immediately stuck in my head. It wasn’t anything earth-shaking, but it sure was a catchy melody. I started singing it, over and over, looking for the next line to come to me. I’m always writing songs, most of which I never finish, but I do like to explore new song lyrics to see where they go.
My daughter and I were on the move and we hopped into the car. I continued singing. I don’t sing well, and I was struggling with finding the next line. I thought it would be cool to get my daughter involved. I asked my daughter what she thought the second line should be. She had the perfect answer.

Flanigan 2018
I saw a sample ballot for the March 20th primary election. There it was, my name on the ballot. And not because I wrote my name on the ballot, but because it was printed on the ballot, ready for all to cast their votes for me …
Weighty Decision
We have decided to purchase a treadmill so I can get nowhere in my battle to lose weight not only figuratively, but also literally. I looked at a few in stores and online. I ran on some in stores, but not online. My tablet would not have been able to support my weight. I finally made a choice, based on one very important specification as highlighted in this pic …

That title is just a little preview of the absurd logic used by people on social media, twisted a bit to suit my need to make a point. Of course that title is logically not correct. Yes, there are stupid people. Yes, memes are a problem these days, especially the ones created by foreigners.
I ran across a meme similar to this one on social media …

No, I don’t agree, so I didn’t share. The logic used is riddled with holes like Swiss cheese. Gee, what a surprise, another example of failed logic embraced by NRA lovers. In previous posts, we have already explored the Fallacy of the Alternative Disjunct in a post on Syrian refugees. What’s that? You don’t recall the Fallacy of the Alternative Disjunct? I warned you that there may be a test later. I suppose we can review …

Bonus Olympic Coverage
I really wish NBC would cover the Olympics better for the USA. Sure, we get plenty of opportunities to watch sports in which Americans compete for medals like Snowboard and Figure Skating. But I also want to see some of the other sports that are not as popular in the USA. For example, the Swiss dominate the Doubles Pallet Jack, and it’s kind of fun to watch their dominance.

And in Singles Escalator Hanging, the Swiss also excel …

Untitling the Entitlements

I’m a Winner!
It was foretold that I would win … and I did.
Her hair was long, dark and wild, sensually cascading over her shoulders like gravy down a mountain of mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving.
