The problem is that repercussions (repeated concussions per the Mayo Clinic) will not be covered under Trumpcare.

For some reason, people have compared Senator Mitch McConnell to a turtle. Well yesterday, McConnell was turtling along like usual, waiting for Senator John McCain to get healthy enough to return to the Senate and vote for the Senate’s Trumpcare bill.

And then, Twitter happened. Was it a Trump tweet?




Republican lawmakers are having some second thoughts about the bill they are constructing to repeal Obamacare, formally known as the Affordable Care Act that provides health care insurance at reasonable, subsidized rates, irrespective of pre-existing conditions to almost 30 million Americans.
They know that repealing Obamacare will leave these almost 30 million Americans without health insurance, and that will likely result in serious illness and probably deaths for many Americans.
But that is not what is troubling Republican lawmakers.
As I write this, it was 15 days ago that I went to the doctor to be diagnosed with acute pharyngitis. I accepted the compliment, although I thought it odd since I had not dropped my pants during the exam. I was concerned, and after an exhaustive 30 second Google search, I found I had been diagnosed with a very bad sore throat. Huh. They told me I had a bad throat infection and checked me for strep, but it was negative. I could not speak. I had no voice above a whisper. I felt terrible. Bad sore throat? They threw 10 days of penicillin at me and sent me home. Over the next 10 days, I continued to get worse. I suspected I was in bad shape when I noticed my wife had done some Google searches of her own on my computer for local funeral homes.
With the Republican primary in New Hampshire less than a month away, New Hampshire taxpayers will be absorbing a higher than normal cost for the election.
