Is Trump Right About Fake News?

I’m confused, which everyone who has ever read this blog already knows. I think Donald Trump is correct when he complains about ‘Fake News.’ I am starting to believe it exists.

Take this video from Judge Jeanine Pirro from Fox News on Michael Flynn. You may want to skip to the very end where Pirro suggests that Judge Sullivan could throw out Flynn’s guilty plea.

Did you watch the whole video? Did you throw up in your mouth just a bit in parts like I did? Understandable. This “judge throws out Flynn’s guilty plea due to FBI wrongdoing” narrative had been pushed by Fox News and White House talking heads for a while. Instead, Judge Emmet Sullivan, a Reagan appointee, excoriated Flynn in a blistering diatribe to the point of dropping the treason bomb as a possible additional charge. Oops.

And what about the Clinton Foundation?

What’s in a Name?

The new Michael Wolff book “Fire and Fury” is certainly making news these past couple days. The cable news hosts at CNN and MSNBC have enjoyed mini-vacations as all they are doing is reading book excerpts and asking their guests to comment. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer seems to love the book, but I pondered the possibilities if perhaps he loves the author, too.

Summer School Multi Media Project? Done!

Lil’ Donnie Trump finished his middle school multi media video project and proudly posted it on Twitter today. (For non-Twitter users, he really did post this, making this part of the presidential record) Here is a YouTube Link in case you missed it …

Breaking News? Really?

The Washington Post and NY Times both are reporting that Donald Trump gave highly classified information to the Russians during their recent visit to the Oval Office. Is this really “Breaking News?” Fox News sees no story and is running highlights from the White House Easter festivities on their shows tonight …

Pay no attention to the Russian in the Easter Bunny costume.

Meanwhile, CNN and MSNBC are trumpeting “Breaking News” and acting like Trump just sold the nuclear codes on eBay. This is really not “Breaking News.” Trump is heading out of the country next week. One stop, while not on the official itinerary, will be a quick trip to Russia for a scheduled job performance review with his boss, Vladamir Putin, where he will undoubtedly turn over that classified info and so much more. “Breaking News?” More like “Expected News.”

Breaking BREAKING NEWS

Due to excessive use over the past 6 weeks, the CNN “BREAKING NEWS” chyron at the bottom of the screen has broken. The “R” and “E” in BREAKING have burned out and need to be replaced.

Although this is definitely not BAKING NEWS, Jeff Sessions is certainly feeling the heat.

Do Judge a Book by The Cover

Looks like Trump is at it again, complaining via twitter about how he looks on a book cover.

Some may argue that any pic of Trump is a bad pic, but I do agree that CNN should change the pic and also the BLATANT misspelling. Might I suggest …

Jeb, is that a turtle in your pocket, or are you just happy to still be in the race?

It seems that Republican presidential hopeful, but likely hopeless, candidate Jeb Bush is giving away turtles on the campaign trail. Click the link (if you dare) for the full, boring, true story as reported by CNN.

First Democratic Debate Rocks Polls

In the wake of the first debate between the Democratic primary candidates, the polls reflect some significant changes and a new contender. Not too much changed at the top as Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders still lead the polls. Clinton polls extremely well with those wearing pants suits, getting approval from over 95% of that demographic. Sanders earned high marks from the “no original teeth” demographic, especially in the Northern states. Those in that demographic polled did complain that the debate was on too late, it conflicted with Matlock reruns, and the mashed potatoes at dinner were too lumpy. Sanders did not do so well in the “no original teeth” demographic in the South where that demographic cuts across all age groups.
