Bridge Over Trumpled Waters

I have enjoyed the reporting from the NYC courthouse regarding the Trump trial. It’s very informative and professional.

But am I the only one who gets an overwhelming urge to listen to a Simon and Garfunkel song after those segments?

What’s in a Name?

The new Michael Wolff book “Fire and Fury” is certainly making news these past couple days. The cable news hosts at CNN and MSNBC have enjoyed mini-vacations as all they are doing is reading book excerpts and asking their guests to comment. Rachel Maddow is Smart

I watch the Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC. I like her style. She doesn’t curse. She uses documented facts. She cites sources. She allows viewers to draw their own conclusions. She is very smart and often uses words I have heard before, but may be just a bit hazy on the definition. Tonight she used a word I had never heard before. Never. Breaking News? Really?

Pay no attention to the Russian in the Easter Bunny costume.

Meanwhile, CNN and MSNBC are trumpeting “Breaking News” and acting like Trump just sold the nuclear codes on eBay. This is really not “Breaking News.” Trump is heading out of the country next week. One stop, while not on the official itinerary, will be a quick trip to Russia for a scheduled job performance review with his boss, Vladamir Putin, where he will undoubtedly turn over that classified info and so much more. “Breaking News?” More like “Expected News.”
