To Swing or Not to Swing

My wife and I are headed to a party Saturday night.

A playing card invitation? The ace of hearts? You know what that kind of an invitation means, don’t you?

It’s a swinger’s party. A gambling theme means someone’s getting lucky. Certainly not anyone who gets paired with me at a swinger’s party, but someone. If you’re not convinced, take a further look.

Adult only. That’s a clear sign it’s for swingers. If they just didn’t want kids, they would have stated “Don’t bring your annoying kids.” Instead, we are told it is an “Adult Only Celebration.” Hmm.

My wife thinks I’m crazy and that it’s a simple birthday party. Oh, how innocent. It makes me quite a bit nervous knowing that I have to leave my wife alone at this “adult only celebration” by herself as I leave early due to concert plans. She may be partially correct that it is a birthday party. Well, I know what they wear at “adult only” birthday parties. Birthday suits!
